Okay so it's been a long time since I have been on here...so many things are different since the last time that
I connected with this site. I have changed medical facilities, I am not being seen at UPMC in Pittsburgh and not Hopkins in Baltimore. I have been going there since April 9, 2012 and have had appointments about each month since then. There was a concern about my liver after a sonogram so they did a CAT scan which elevated the concern and caused more poking and prodding. Specifically an endoscopy and biopsy of the liver. Just so you know if they tell you a biopsy will not hurt they are lying! I am not sure what is in store for me over the next few months but I am hanging in there. On a positive note I lost 8 pounds between May and July, Yeah!!
